Wheelz
comprise of five rotary club members and two friends
with a history of both playing and living (and surviving!)
through the halcyon days of the 60’s,70’s and 80’s when
music was not only entertainment but almost a way of life.
Like most musicians, you never lose the bug to keep reliving
those memories through the medium of live sound and the
thrill of entertaining an audience. Wheelz is out to
recreate that era with there own style of rock and pop.
The group is available for any event where fund raising for
charitable causes is a priority. Although their priority is
for Rotary events they will consider any event where
entertainment and charity is utmost. Similarly they are not
fixed by the boundary of Rotary 1240 district and will
travel anywhere if the cause is good.
The band intend to hold a concert at the Empire Theatre,
Southend in the near future which will raise funds for
rotary charities.
Music is a wonderful medium for communicating and Rotary has
a reputation for supporting and promoting it at all levels,
